Specialists in the hospitality trade work in various areas of gastronomy and the hotel industry.
In restaurants, they serve and advise guests, set tables and arrange decorations. They set up buffets and prepare for events. In hotels, they work at the reception desk or in housekeeping, for example.
After the 2-year apprenticeship, there is an option to train for a further year to become a specialist in the restaurant business, specialist in the hotel business or hotel business administrator.
